Water is one of the most important commodities necessary. The Scottish government understand this so in many cases a grant of £800 can be obtained to carry out the following:

  • improve your domestic, or commercial, private water supply
  • set up a new private water supply
  • set up a domestic distribution system

This funding can help in the modernisation of current systems such as replacement of old lead pipes, water storage tank improvements, in fact anywhere from source to tap. This includes any filtration equipment that may be required.

If you have a private water supply, such as a borehole, spring, stream, loch, well or surface supply, and are looking for a treatment solution, equipment, or simply want advice, then we can help.

We can supply and install equipment or based on the information available to us simply supply the required equipment for DIY install or by a local plumber/engineer. We understand that the cost of deploying a skilled engineer may be prohibitive so can provide help in any way possible.

We supply a range of high quality Ultra Violet (UV) units, particle filters and water treatment units. These include filters to reduce concentrations of iron, manganese, aluminium, suspended solids, colour, odour and pH correction. We can also specify and supply the correct borehole or booster pumps to be used on such a system.

If you are the owner of or use a private water supply, and are looking for advice, we can help.
